Terms & Conditions (Summary)

By booking or hiring a kitchen pod from Essential Spaces, you agree to the following terms.
Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation.
A £200 deposit is required to secure your booking and is non-refundable unless we cancel.
The final balance is due 28 days before hire.
A £200 security deposit is payable on installation and will be refunded if the pod is returned clean and undamaged.
Hire Period
Hire runs from the agreed delivery/install date to the agreed collection date.
Extensions must be agreed in advance and may incur additional charges.
Late returns may be charged at our daily hire rate.
Delivery & Installation
You must provide safe, clear, and legal access to the site.
The kitchen pod must be placed on private land or a driveway you own or control and cannot be located on a public road or highway.
Additional charges may apply if access or ground conditions cause delays.
Use & Care
The kitchen pod must be used only as a temporary kitchen.
You are responsible for keeping it clean and in good condition.
The pod must be returned clean; additional cleaning or repairs will be charged.
Sub-letting or third-party use is not permitted without written consent.
Damage & Insurance
You must report any damage or safety issues immediately.
You are responsible for damage caused by misuse or deliberate action.
Our kitchen pods are fully insured with public liability cover up to £10 million.
Cancellations
90+ days before hire: Full refund (excluding transaction fees).
90–30 days before hire: Refund excluding 50% deposit and transaction fees.
Within 30 days: No refund.
If your plans change, we are happy to move your booking to a new date at no extra cost, subject to availability.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond our control, including extreme weather or government restrictions.
Termination
We may terminate the hire immediately if payments are not made, the pod is misused, or the terms are breached.
